On 3 September,2009,the first Scorpene-class diesel-electric submarine named after the country's first premier KD Tunku Abdul Rahman, arrived at a Port Klang naval base on peninsular Malaysia's west coast after a 54-day voyage from France. Bernama: Malaysia’s First Submarine Begins Journey Home from France KD Tunku Abdul Rahman is finally coming home. The story from Bernama stated that the country’s first submarine left Toulon on Thursday. PROUD TO BE MALAYSIAN;)
